Senior Quantity Surveyor managing commercial aspects of engineering projects.

Tasks
-Accurately prepare and submit pricing estimates, ensuring adherence to deadlines. -Work closely with Site Managers to gather information on daily operations. -Manage the commercial aspects of multiple sites to ensure timely delivery within budget constraints. -Liaise with clients on all commercial matters and ensure proper documentation is prepared and submitted. -Prepare Cost Value Reports (CVRs) and handle final accounts. -Oversee subcontractor management and coordinate their activities. -Address and resolve pricing issues in collaboration with clients. -Administer contracts (NEC/NR forms) efficiently. -Manage changes to contracts and provide early warnings as necessary. -Maintain effective client communication and relationships.

What You Bring
-A degree qualification and membership with RICS or ICES (or equivalent experience). -Strong communication, interpersonal, and team management skills. -Multi-disciplinary experience across engineering sectors including civils, rail, and mechanical & electrical (M&E) projects or maintenance works. -Proficiency in MS Office applications. -Experience in a contracting environment. -Previous experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, or a progressive Quantity Surveyor ready for the next step in their career.
