Design, integrate, and manage complex telecom systems (PAGA, networking, radio, security).

Tasks

-Perform Detailed Design of individual telecommunications systems, including all necessary integration activities. -Reviews vendor documentation -Performs work in a timely manner -Perform or manage system studies, Radio, PAGA & CCTV (subject to requirements) -Supports purchasing and field construction teams -Management of interfaces -Development and review of project philosophies, specifications, block diagrams, material take offs, requisition package, scopes of work and other base design documentation -Interaction with multiple operational execution centers (MOPEX)

What You Bring

-Chartered Engineer (CEng) status and Member of a Professional Institution is preferable -Communicative skills (meetings, reporting) -Capable of working under pressure -Typically has the following years of detail control & instrumentation engineering experience:Minimum 15 years experienceIs proficient with codes and standards, typically IEC, BS and ANSI. Is current on new scientific engineering methods and possesses a broad technical knowledge of the detail design engineering process. -Engineering Degree -Is capable of appropriate use of computer applications and other specialized engineering tools -Is current on new scientific engineering methods and possesses a broad technical knowledge of the detail design engineering process. -Minimum 15 years experience -Good written/spoken English -Is proficient with codes and standards, typically IEC, BS and ANSI. -Experience in contracting or related industries. -Flexible to travel to domestic and international locations as necessary to attend meetings and factory acceptance tests
