Overview

Mold and demold shell blocks for core manufacturing on night shifts.

Tasks

-Ensures the correct part-specific work instruction is pulled up on the production system screen (Mercury) while performing any operation in the molding cell. -Check daily molding schedule and requirements and able to prepare the area, set up for operations, and do updates to work schedule or safety items. -Process the assembly blocks, or parts for inputs to the blocks according to engineering specifications and quality standards. The ability to read, understand, and follow part-specific work instructions is necessary. -Assemble, manipulate, and transfer shell blocks to multiple unit operations throughout the process flow. Work requires the use and knowledge of manual and automated lift equipment due to the weight requirements of shell blocks. -Perform CTQ Audits and basic Housekeeping throughout the shift.

What You Bring

-High school graduate or GED. -Demonstrated mechanical aptitude. -Trained and signed off on Demonstrated Skills Checklist for Mercury, Molding and Demolding Technician. Completes LOTO training for specific molding and demolding unit operations. Completes and is certified on motorized lifts and forklifts in the building. -Ability to read Engineering instructions. -Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. -This position will require an export license from the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security, and/or the Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. Issuance of any required license is a prerequisite for this position. The candidate must be able to work with export-controlled technology under US export control law.
