The Role

Overview

Oversee electrical project delivery, coordination, reporting and handover.

Tasks

-Manage the project handover process and maintain the document management system. -Attend project start-up meetings. -Attend general site meetings and action points raised. -Communicate any innovative project-specific works to the Contracts Manager (R&D). -Ensure adequate materials are always available to complete the project. -Become familiar with all details and specifications of the project. -Liaise with main contractors and the client-based site team. -Oversee coordination and delivery of project plant and equipment. -Responsible for collating technical submittals, ensuring they are issued and followed through until approval. -Maintain weekly progress reports, reporting and managing any changes/variations. -Generate biweekly/monthly snag lists and improvements. -Carry out project-specific scheduling. -Manage labour tracker. -Attend meetings with subcontractors to ensure on-time delivery. -Ensure construction and commissioning programmes are in place and implement the commissioning plan on site. -Raise and manage RFIs.
