Tasks

As Superintendent, you’ll lead all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of craftsmanship. -Lead, coordinate, and supervise all subcontractor activities and site logistics. -Collaborate with the Project Manager, design team, and owner representatives to resolve field issues. -Maintain accurate project documentation including daily reports, inspections, and schedules. -Support project planning, sequencing, and phasing for complex or occupied-site projects. -Oversee daily field operations for assigned projects, ensuring compliance with schedule, budget, and quality goals. -Drive a strong safety culture and enforce all company and regulatory safety standards. -Review and coordinate project drawings, specifications, and subcontract scopes. -Mentor field staff and foster a collaborative, solutions-oriented jobsite environment.

What You Bring

We’re seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee field operations for large-scale healthcare and higher education projects in Topeka, Kansas. This is an opportunity to join a respected general contractor known for its collaborative culture, commitment to quality, and long-standing relationships with leading institutions across the region. -8+ years of commercial construction experience, including at least 3 years as a lead Superintendent. -Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project preferred. -Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. -OSHA 30 certification required; First Aid/CPR certification preferred. -Proven success managing ground-up or major renovation projects in healthcare and/or higher education environments. -Demonstrated ability to manage complex schedules and multiple subcontractor teams. -Strong understanding of building systems, sequencing, and MEP coordination.
