Emulsion Plant Operator

Overview

Operate plant to produce bitumen emulsion, test samples, ensure safety and quality.

Tasks

-Recording Test Results -Testing of Bitumen Emulsion Samples -To maintain plant and laboratory housekeeping standards. -Adhere to and promote the highest level of safety standards whilst carrying out daily Health & Safety and Environmental Inspections -To undertake plant maintenance activities -Operating the plant to produce various grades of emulsion. -Calibration of Laboratory and Plant Equipment -Supporting plant and lab housekeeping activities -Planning and ordering raw materials as per production requirements -Communication of test results to Plant Manager/Technical Manager in a timely manner.

What You Bring

-Good interpersonal skills -Good verbal and written English due to nature of the role -Experience driving a Shunter Truck an advantage, but not essential as training will be given -Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team -Ability to learn quickly and take ownership of work -Manual Handling
