Tasks

-Performs various manual tasks as a general laborer to assist in unloading trucks, railcars and upkeep of rail terminal facility. Fosters teamwork, positive work environment and overall safety of self and others. -Learn from directions, observations, and mistakes and apply procedures using good judgment. -Follow written and verbal directions to complete assigned tasks on schedule.

What You Bring

-Valid Drivers License preferred for this position but not a requirment -Front End Loader, Backhoe, Crane, Forklift, Sweeper and Skid Steer – Broom and Shovels -High school education or general education diploma (GED). -Ability to interpret directions and/or instructions. -Ability to take direction and supervision. -Read, write, and communicate in English & understand basic math. -PPE; hard hat, vest(work clothes), safety glasses, gloves, steel toed boots, ear plugs and respirators -High level of attention to detail. -Self-motivated with ability to complete projects with minimum direct supervision. -Lifting up to 50 lbs. -Work independently or as part of a team and interact appropriately with others. -Ability to pass training and required testing. -Demonstrate predictable, reliable, and timely attendance. -Working knowledge of Watco Safety and Operating principles.
