VP - Underwriter (Loan Servicing)

Tasks

-Assist in the development of team members in our India offices. -Effectively and continually communicate with all concerned parties, including Berkadia Mortgage Bankers, regarding the progress of underwriting and approval processes. -Maintain a pipeline of approximately 25–35 transactions, ensuring all deals progress in accordance with document and Servicing Agreement requirements, as well as Borrower expectations. -Manage relationships with external legal counsel, vendors, clients, investors, and internal customers. -Perform or oversee contractors' underwriting of transactions and consents. -Manage all escalated and complex issues, elevating them to Senior Management when appropriate. -Ensure that Lenders' and Investors' credit standards are maintained and that identified risks are properly mitigated.

What You Bring

-Excellent research, analytical, and organizational skills with a focus on time management and results. -5-7+ years of experience in a similar position. -Expertise in commercial real estate finance, servicing operations, and mortgage documentation. -Proficient in Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Ginnie Mae, HUD, and CMBS guidelines. -Strong written, oral, and negotiation skills. -Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
