Overview

Drive trucks delivering building materials, ensuring safety and service.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Perform touch-freight tasks, which may require lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs -Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and always wear appropriate PPE -Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products -Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading -Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the accuracy of the load -Notify branch management of any potential hazards on site

What You Bring

-At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience -Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions -Valid Class A or B CDL license in good standing -Must be 21 years of age or older -Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team -Experience operating heavy equipment and driving a manual transmission truck
