  • Complete audits and daily reports describing activities completed, and issues, etc.
  • Collaborate across the jobsite with Field Operations and Project Operations team members, as well as the General Contractor and other trade partners
  • Assist with the collection of safety records following trainings sessions
  • Monitor large construction sites and enforce compliance with government rules & regulations
  • Attend all safety meetings on the job sites
  • Document all injuries, incidents, and near misses
  • Signing daily paperwork to verify proper hazard and mitigation assessment
  • Stay up-to-date with safety policies and trends, i.e. meeting the latest safety standards and establishing new ones from time-to-time as newer risks are discovered

  • You have 3+ years of direct experience as a safety professional in the following industries: construction management, risk management, or Environmental Health and Safety
  • You have a strong attention to detail
  • Required: You’ve completed the OSHA 510
  • You’re a natural at conflict resolution and are calm under pressure
  • Required: You’ve completed an OSHA 30-hour course
  • You’re able to exercise confidentiality and discretion when dealing with sensitive information
  • Bonus points: You have experience within the electrical construction industry
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Required: You are certified in First Aid/CPR
  • You have an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, or completion of an apprenticeship program
  • You have a safety credential through the Board of Certified Safety Professional (BCSP), i.e. CHST or working towards accomplishing certification
