Tasks

-Be responsible for the safety of yourself and colleagues, acting as an ambassador for a strong safety culture in everything you do. -Act as a strong ambassador for SSE Power Distribution, providing excellent customer service with a flexible approach when called upon for fault conditions. -Help with Cable preparation for cable jointing and cable termination into transformers or switchgear. -Be assisting experienced Cable Jointers working on HV & LV Network whilst they joint both HV (high voltage 11KV - 33KV works and LV (415V - 1000V), carrying out jointing, cabling and excavation work on a pre-planned and quick response basis, which from time to time may require an overnight stay. -Other duties will be, assisting with maintenance/refurbishment and preparation of electrical equipment within substations compounds.
