The Role

Tasks

-Maintain a holistic understanding of the pharma technology stack, including: -Engage with ecosystem partners to co-develop and integrate complementary solutions. -Lead the design and integration of IT/OT architecture across all project phases, including Siemens and non-Siemens technologies. -Ensure solutions comply with pharma-specific standards and regulations such as: -Advise on simulation techniques, digital twins, and data integrity strategies in drug development and manufacturing. -Assess client requirements and translate them into solution concepts, architectures and value propositions. -Provide technical leadership and domain expertise during pre-sales and bid activities. -Act as the central contact for technical topics, ensuring solution alignment with pharma-specific processes and compliance standards. -Review and validate functional and technical designs, test strategies, and deployment concepts. -Manage change requests by assessing impacts and proposing viable solutions. -Work closely with sales and pursuit teams to develop proposals and guide customer decision-making. -Work closely with consulting, offering, and delivery teams to ensure seamless transition from bid to execution. -Build internal knowledge and enablement around pharma technologies and standards. -Support the development of reusable use cases and reference architectures tailored to pharma industry´s needs.

What You Bring

-Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across all seniority levels. -2 to 3 days of mobile working per week as a global standard -10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical R&D, manufacturing, or consulting, with a focus on digital transformation. -Fluent in English -IT systems: MES, ERP, LIMS, PLM, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), data lakes and analytics. -Engineering or life sciences degree preferred; equivalent experience considered. -OT systems: SCADA, DCS, PLCs, historian databases and edge computing. -Proven track record in technical advisory roles during bid and delivery phases or a leading role in a pharma company -Strong understanding of pharma-specific business processes, regulatory frameworks, and technology stacks. -Familiarity with simulation techniques and their application in drug development and tech transfer. -GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11, ICH Q8–Q12, ISPE GAMP 5, and ISO 13485. -Engineering degree, ideally in a relevant subject such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering is an asset but no hard requirement. -Consultant mindset with the ability to tailor solutions to customer challenges.
