EH&S Supervisor

Tasks

-Develop and maintain strong relationships with site leadership to provide guidance and support for EH&S initiatives. -Support investigations and recommend actions to address non-conformance, including incident reporting and other safety-related areas. -Responsible for new hire safety training. -Oversee EH&S compliance programs, monitor performance, and ensure accurate internal and external reporting. -Drive reductions in safety incidents. Utilize existing systems and programs to identify safety trends and establish corrective actions to permanently reduce facility incidents. -Adhere to the Company’s Environmental Compliance Program including both internal and external stakeholders. -Assist team activities associated with EH&S program/policy implementation. -Perform regular facility inspections to ensure compliance with federal, state, and regulations -Fully understand the policies and procedures for OSHA and standards. Maintains related tracking logs. -Lead the implementation of site safety and environmental programs for all levels of the facilities and conduct audits. -Communicate site-specific EH&S plans and updates to the manager and site leader prior to action. -Assist with interactions and reporting to various State and Federal Agencies including direct legal response(s) to associated EPA, OSHA, etc., actions directed at repair locations. -Understand and ensure compliance with all personal protective equipment requirements -Monitors compliance across the facility and works with the Operations Manager to ensure EH&S program requirements are met. -In partnership with operations leadership, ensure that all facility employees receive required EH&S training -Assume a leadership role in continuing to develop and promote a positive EH&S culture by maintaining a consistent, respectful presence directly and throughout team and local leadership. -Control and communicate documents pertinent to the safety policy to all affected personnel.

What You Bring

-Knowledge of OHSA regulations -Root cause problem-solving ability: understand and apply problem-solving skills to seek continuous improvements -Effective communication skills -Three (3) years’ experience in a related field. -Knowledge of HAZMAT regulations -Strong computer skills for scheduling, communicating, and reporting. -High School Diploma. Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
