Tasks

Investigate issues raised during testing and user feedback, identifying root causes and providing detailed reports to the development team. Work closely with the team to troubleshoot and resolve defects, ensuring effective communication between the expert user community and developers. Support security testing and ensure that applications are secure and adhere to best practices. Identify vulnerabilities and potential risks, working with the team to implement solutions and maintain secure software. Follow coding and testing standards to ensure maintainability and scalability of testing frameworks. Proactively seek opportunities to improve testing processes, tools, and frameworks. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in testing to continually enhance team efficiency and the quality of testing efforts. Participate in feedback sessions and actively develop technical skills. Collaborate with senior team members to analyse project requirements and build test plans for new features. Execute manual and automated tests to verify functionality and usability of both frontend and backend systems. Ensure that features meet technical specifications and quality standards before release. Work closely with developers, product managers, designers, and QA teams to ensure alignment on testing goals and priorities. Participate in team discussions and refinement sessions to improve testing strategies and overall software quality. Provide clear, actionable feedback on identified bugs and issues. Maintain accurate records of testing activities, including test cases, plans, and results. Generate detailed reports on test outcomes, highlighting issues, risks, and suggested improvements. Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring transparency and understanding. Assist in the development and enhancement of the automated testing framework. Contribute to the creation of automated test scripts, expanding the scope of automation to improve test coverage, reduce manual effort, and accelerate the release cycle while maintaining reliability. As a Software Test Engineer, you will be responsible for both manual and automated testing across frontend and backend systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the performance, security, and functionality of our products meet the highest standards. What You Bring

If you're detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to help us deliver high-quality software, we'd love to have you on our team! -Knowledge of various testing techniques (e.g., black-box, white-box, exploratory, user acceptance testing). -Knowledge of automation tools like Appium, Selenium WebDriver and Cypress is a plus. -Great troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to efficiently identify, reproduce, and report bugs. -Experience in tracking and managing test progress and defect life cycles using test management tools (e.g., Jira). -Experience in writing test cases, checklists, and test plans based on functional and non-functional requirements. -Experience in testing web and mobile applications, including functional, regression, UX, and domain testing. -Familiarity with Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban) and collaborating with cross-functional teams to define testing needs and priorities. -2+ years of experience in software testing/QA, including a solid understanding of testing processes and methodologies. -Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. -Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, Certified Agile Tester) are a plus.
