Overview
Inspect civil construction sites, verify compliance, document work, and coordinate with clients and teams.

Tasks
-Documenting the day-to-day field and inspection activities, and measuring of quantities. -Interact and communicate with clients, contractors, and other SEH personnel. -Prepare for and assist with preconstruction meetings, progress, and conflict resolution meetings. -May assist in development of proposals, estimating project budgets and schedules and completing constructability reviews -Observing construction on a variety of Transportation, Civil and/or Municipal infrastructure projects to verify compliance with approved plans and specifications.

What You Bring
-Four (4) or more years of experience in the construction field serving as a Construction Project Representative or related role. -This position requires an MVR records check verifying that you possess a valid driver’s license and a driving record which meets the requirements of SEH’s Driving Program. -Associate Degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, or related field. -Candidates with skills in AutoCAD or Microstation may participate in CAD production activities while in the office -Six (6) or more years of experience as a Construction Project Representative on DOT, County and/or Municipal construction projects involving earthwork, concrete and bituminous paving, site improvements, and street/utility construction. -Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.). -Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and be able to walk and climb over rough terrain associated with construction sites. -Ability to work overtime as needed. -Previous experience and working knowledge of AutoCAD or MicroStation. -High School Diploma or GED -Possession of applicable DOT Technical Certifications or ability to obtain within six (6) months of employment -Ability to travel as needed for team meetings, client consultations, on-site observations, etc. Occasional overnight travel may be required. -Must have good communication skills and be able to work independently.
