Overview

Conduct land surveys, analyze data, produce CAD plans, and mentor drafting staff.

Tasks

-Preparation of Subdivision Plans and Lot Consolidation Plans -Preparation and set-up of survey data for field crews -Construction layout calculations, as-built surveys and/or sketches -Grade sheet preparation -ALTA/NSPS land title survey preparation. -Oversee and mentor CAD Drafters – review plans prepared by CAD Drafters for accuracy, completeness and conformance to company and client standards -Assist and work directly with Assistant Project Managers and Project Managers -Preparation of Metes & Bounds descriptions -Accountable for plan presentation

-Strong math skills -Ability to meet project deadlines within budget -Proficient with MS Word and Excel -30+ Years of Expertise: We’ve earned a reputation for exceptional quality, precision, and dependability over three decades of service -Post survey field data analysis and/or conversions as necessary -Ability to learn new software and technologies in a timely manner -Cutting-Edge Technology: We utilize advanced tools like Trimble, Leica, and 3D laser scanners to ensure the highest standard of work -Proven record of producing clean and accurate plan presentations -Light to moderate lifting may be required -Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer -Preparation of FEMA Elevation certificate -Ability to take and apply direction -Excellent organizational and communication skills -5+ years of surveying experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D -Knowledge of field survey operations, engineering and construction industry -Ability to create mapping from field crew data collector files (points), field sketches, digital photographs, and reference maps -Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as a team member
