The Role
Overview
Lead design, coordination, and technical delivery for multidisciplinary projects.

Tasks
-Perform field site observations. Field site visits frequently require a physical walk-through of site. -May provide guidance to interns and mentor less experienced team members. -Prepare design sketches of moderate to complex site plans. -Contribute to the technical quality of projects by enforcing the application of QA/QC process standards and requirements while ensuring that all statutory requirements for the project are achieved. -Participate in Business Development activity and partner with Marketing and Office Leadership as needed to help grow top line. -Communicate project status, design intent, construction updates, and other critical information in a clear and compelling way to the owner(s), consultants, and clients. -Participate in project teams by implementing CannonDesign Method using process expectations, best practices, reference standards, tools, templates, and technology to achieve competitive advantage, superior service delivery and quality, and enhanced team productivity and profitability. -Lead some elements of design, production, coordination, and architectural detailing as part of a multi-disciplinary team. -May lead and assist in coordination of engineering systems with engineers and consultants; actively partner with Design Leadership to carry through design intent; and coordinate with all other team members on project assignments and documents.

What You Bring
-Minimum 8+ years of related professional experience required. -Must possess business acumen. -Proficiency with Revit, Enscape, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite required. -Minimum Bachelor degree in a relevant field required. -Must be a fully qualified professional able to perform work with a high degree of latitude, with some ambiguity in work. -Knowledge of building codes and requirements. -CDT and LEED accreditation preferred. -Must be highly analytical. -Current Architectural Registration in the United States required. -Strong technical knowledge and coordination skills. -Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
