Administers ICIDS CCTV and access control systems at JBLM, ensuring maintenance & security.

Tasks

-Oversees the proper operation of the ICIDS system architecture, security VLAN connections, CCTV, and DIACAP/CoN processes and ensures the application of all required security measures for all software and hardware; -Performs system administration maintenance and repairs for the entire ICIDS, MD SafeNet 6.2 system; -Reports critical events to the supervisor and/or COR; -Ensures time-sensitive reports and other information are created and submitted within the required time frames; -Applies and manages DIACAP/CoN processes before placing new equipment on the live system; -Provides support to field technicians during maintenance and repair efforts; -Assists alarm monitors with account updates daily, including subscriber info, walk-in/phone-in customer support, and mapping; -Resolves systems errors and minimizes downtime; -Maintains network and data transmission media (DTM) security and integrity; -Maintains programming for accurate and up-to-date account information; -Manages ICIDS system architecture and account activity and ensures all required information is provided for each account, new and existing; -Ensures accounts are identified as activated or deactivated; -Troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains various CCTV systems and sub-systems software and hardware; -Ensures ICIDS database and account information remain current and up-to-date; -Develops and modifies new and existing standards, processes, and manuals; -Interfaces with internal customers, including Engineering and Operations, with the technical information necessary to improve installations; -Ensures compliance with safety policies; and -Supports software and hardware for current system architecture; -Collaborates with peer groups as it relates to the development, writing, and finalizing of submittals; -Effectively represents Evergreen Fire and Security professionally and invitingly; -Oversees daily upkeep and administrative completion of required reports and schedules;

This opportunity as a Systems Administrator in the Joint Base Lewis McChord, Washington area is perfect for an IT professional who enjoys maintaining servers and/or other computer systems. This individual will be responsible for quality control, technical support, system build, system design, onsite commissioning, acceptance testing, end-user training of low-voltage systems, CCTV, and access control. This is an onsite position Monday-Friday 7:00 am-4:00 pm on JBLM. Our success is due in large part to the experience, skills, and expertise of the best and brightest employees in the industry.
