Tasks
As a Shift Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the smooth operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of high-availability electrical and mechanical systems. You’ll work hands-on with cutting-edge technologies in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment. As a Shift Leader, you’ll oversee a team of engineers and technicians, ensuring all critical systems operate flawlessly. You’ll be the go-to expert during your shift, driving operational excellence and continuous uptime. -Manage vendor and contractor activities with strict SLA adherence. -Conduct shift handovers, incident reporting, and performance reviews. -Act as the escalation point for technical issues and emergencies. -Monitor and maintain MEP systems: UPS, generators, switchgear, chillers, CRAH units, and BMS. -Respond to alarms and faults, diagnose issues, and restore operations swiftly. -Mentor and train staff to uphold technical excellence. -Lead and supervise multidisciplinary shift teams. -Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety and performance standards. -Maintain detailed logs and performance records. -Support energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives. -Coordinate with vendors and contractors during installations and major maintenance. -Maintain compliance documentation and support audits. -Ensure maintenance activities align with SOPs, EOPs, and MOPs. -Oversee critical systems: UPS, generators, HVAC, chillers, fire suppression, and BMS. -Monitor energy usage and recommend efficiency improvements. -Execute preventive and corrective maintenance per SOPs, EOPs, and MOPs.

What You Bring
We are currently looking for datacentre maintenance professionals across KSA Please do not apply if you don’t have previous critical engineering or datacentre experience. We need only Datacentre professionals from a maintenance background. Step into a leadership role at the forefront of Saudi Arabia’s digital infrastructure. We’re seeking an experienced and driven professional to lead our shift engineering team in maintaining world-class data centre operations. -Deep understanding of MEP systems and international standards (Uptime Institute, TIA-942, NFPA, ASHRAE, IEC). -Familiarity with Uptime Institute Tier standards and TIA-942-B. -Strong leadership and decision-making skills. -Familiarity with international codes (NFPA, ASHRAE, IEC). -Ability to lead under pressure and make fast, informed decisions. -Bachelor’s in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. -Willingness to work shifts and respond to emergencies. -English fluency (Arabic is a plus). -High-voltage switching and strong MEP maintenance experience. -Problem-solving and multitasking abilities. -PMP or facilities management certifications (IFMA, BICSI). -Experience with BMS, SCADA, and CAFM systems. -7+ years in data centre or critical infrastructure, with 2+ years in leadership. -Strong analytical and reporting capabilities. -Bachelor’s in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred). -3–5 years of experience in data centres or critical infrastructure. -Strong knowledge of MV/LV systems, chillers, pumps, and fuel systems. -Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus). -Proficiency in BMS and CAFM systems.
