The Role
Overview
Assist in design, budgeting, and construction management for medical outpatient projects.

Tasks
-Assist with site feasibility studies to support acquisition and development efforts. -Hire and manage third-party design and construction professionals, including architects, civil engineers, and general contractors. -Assist with project estimating, budgeting, and preconstruction services. -Research and interpret zoning codes and regulations. -Coordinate and work through the entitlement process with local jurisdictions. -Conduct construction market research, cost analysis, and evaluate pricing trends. -Participate in large-scale renovation projects across Healthcare Realty’s national portfolio of 38 million square feet. -Review and negotiate design and construction contracts with legal counsel. -Lead and manage OAC (Owner-Architect-Contractor) meetings. -Travel to project sites as needed (short duration trips only). -Support the delivery of ground-up development and major redevelopment projects for medical outpatient buildings. -Serve as the owner’s representative throughout the development process, ensuring adherence to design, budget, and schedule objectives.

What You Bring
-Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. -Proficiency in reading construction drawings, understanding building and zoning codes, and managing project budgets. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with internal and external stakeholders. -Proactive and collaborative mindset, with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. -Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills. -3–6 years of relevant experience in construction project management, development, or related fields.
