Tasks

-Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions. -Lead a team to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels. -Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes. -Adhere to quality assurance standards in design. -Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.

What You Bring

-Knowledge in the civil and structural design of port and maritime infrastructure supporting port operations, the berthing and mooring of vessels and the transit of people and goods around the globe. -Proficiency in the use of and designing with appropriate FEA packages. -Chartered Civil / Structural Engineer. -Experience in leading design delivery, including multidisciplinary design within the port and maritime environment. -Working experience with current UK and European design standards including BS6349.
