Tasks

-Development and supervision of project staff and processes related to implementing BIM for project controls -Provide technical advice to team members, to support them in their delivery of the project, and coach and guide parties in the implementation and application of BIM. -Liaising with Country BIM leads, ensuring systems, processes, and documentation developed are in line with global standards and best practices -Coordination of processes for complete model life cycle development and functionality (3D, 4D, and 5D, model development and integration) -Coordinate the review and validation of construction models (including 4D/5D contractor model submittals) -Responsible for developing BIM strategy, overseeing all BIM work on select projects, and responsible for BIM quality on all projects, while working closely with BIM leadership on the development of pilot projects -Assist project teams by providing and formatting information from virtual models throughout the lifecycle of a project, including the utilization of models and visualizations for presentations and reporting construction progress -Develop, review, approve, and maintain the suite of BIM documentation guidelines, including BIM standards, implementation plans, and quality control procedures -Provide technical BIM leadership at a project level. Clearly understanding the client’s intended end uses of models, develop and continuously implement any improvements with modelling/BIM processes to better align with those end uses -LiDAR scan the project site for two weeks when advance notice is provided by the client. LiDAR scanning is undertaken during the evening hours at the client's project site. Work hours for scanning occur four weeknight evenings a week during the hours of 4 p.m. to 12 midnight (local time). The fifth workday is regular daytime hours -Review progress, compliance, and clash detection reports produced by the project team utilizing platforms such as BIM360 or in the Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)

What You Bring

-Strong technical skills related to various Common Data Environment platforms, particularly Autodesk BIM360 and/or the Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Bentley system MicroStation, Dynamo, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier Pro, 3Ds Max, SketchUp, and PowerPoint -Minimum 3+ years’ experience in the integration and application of BIM in a multi-disciplinary environment, managing a team of more than 5 BIM modellers -Able to provide input to estimates for the engineering budget and schedule, and to oversee technical resources to meet requirements on large and complex projects. -Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Aided Design, Information Management, IT, or equivalent work experience -Strong communication skills that include internal and external presentation experience -Minimum 5+ years’ experience required working with BIM environments and applications
