Design and support of cathodic protection and corrosion control systems.

Tasks

-Assisting in materials selection for corrosion resistance and developing recommendations. -Performing gas leak detection surveys. -Performing atmospheric corrosion examinations. -Supporting construction support including construction administrative and on-site technical oversight during cathodic protection and alternating current mitigation system installations. -Preparing technical reports including data analysis. -Supporting cathodic protection designs for galvanic and impressed current systems for various structures including design basis, calculations, drawings, specifications, bill of materials, and engineer cost estimates. -Supporting cathodic protection and interference field testing, troubleshooting, and technical investigations for various structures. -Supporting designs for alternating current mitigation systems for pipelines. -Multi-discipline engineering services plus corrosion control, commissioning and project/construction management -Locating pipelines and performing depth of cover surveys. -Supporting indirect inspections on pipelines and facility piping including CIS, DCVG, ACVG, and ACCA.

What You Bring

-Corrosion control, oil and gas, federal, water/wastewater experience preferred. -Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC) or eligibility to obtain a TWIC. -Exceptional organization and communication skills. -Valid driver’s license with excellent driving record. -AMPP (formerly NACE) CP1 Tester Certification preferred. -Ability to travel, perform field work, and work overtime. -Engineering Degree or equivalent. -45 years in business
