Tasks

-Participate in initiatives with the Marketing department to build new client relationships and maintain existing ones -Build leadership and mentorship skills by working with and mentoring junior and intermediate staff -Manage a variety of regulatory and due diligence projects and ensure that they are completed on time and on budget -Prepare proposals -Communicate with Clients and understand their project requirements

What You Bring

-A minimum of 8-10 years’ experience within environmental consulting, at least 3 of which should be in a project management position -Valid driver’s licence and insurance are required (work related travel expenses will be compensated) -Experience with conducting assessments involved with the mining industry would be considered an asset -High level of attention to detail -A professional designation (P.Eng., P.Geo., P.Ag., etc.)is not required, but is considered an asset -Experience with business development initiatives and client interaction -Work towards completing senior technical reviews of both regulatory and due diligence submissions -Experience with invoicing, budgeting, and other areas of project related financial management -Experience with conducting underground storage tank removal programs and/or remedial excavations -Experience with conducting and managing Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments for transactional due diligence purposes, including the completion of soil vapour assessments and indoor air assessments -Strong communication skills & professional presentation -A Bachelor’s Degree in Science (Environmental or Earth Sciences preferred) or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Applied Science -Strong writing skills
