Tasks

-Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate machining -Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area -Produce a high-quality product according to required specifications on a consistent basis -Make tool changes, offsets, and program adjustments as directed by senior CNC operators or programmers -Produce the required quantity of product according to required output specifications -Collaborate with senior CNC operators and machinists to enhance machining skills and knowledge -Use measuring tools as required -Operate CNC machines to produce components, monitoring machine performance and adjusting as necessary -Perform basic machine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubrication, and tool changes -Set up CNC machines by loading the appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials -Identify and report any machine malfunctions or quality issues to the supervisor -Complete necessary paperwork accurately and timely -Operates CNC machines to produce production parts and assemblies -Conduct routine quality inspections using precision measurement instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.) to verify part dimensions -Operate all hand tools, machines and equipment successfully as required and with minimal supervision -Assist in the documentation of production records, including part counts and machine logs -Use computers as required

What You Bring

-Highschool Diploma -Demonstrate the ability to take initiative to see tasks that are needed and complete them without being instructed to do so by supervisors or lead personnel -Understand the machine operation process and the movement of completed components -2-year technical certification or equivalent experience preferred -While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus -Handle fast-paced work -Demonstrate dependability with good attendance -Read and understand Blueprints
