Overview
Provide building regulations advice and ensure compliance on diverse construction projects.

Tasks
-Offer technical advice to clients, contractors, developers, and key stakeholders. -Advise clients and project teams on the Building Safety Act and Building Regulations. -Support the preparation of bid submissions and fee proposals. -Deliver high-quality output, ensuring accuracy and best practice. -Ensure all designs meet current building regulations and statutory requirements. -Undertake plan checks and review design submissions to ensure regulatory compliance. -Attend design and client meetings, providing clear and professional technical guidance. -Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients and project partners. -Identify opportunities for repeat and new business and escalate to senior management.

What You Bring
Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK. -In-depth knowledge of Building Regulations, compliance codes, and relevant legislation. -Excellent communication skills - both written (reports, trackers) and verbal (client meetings). -Strong IT proficiency, including SharePoint and related software tools. -Proven experience working on multiple construction projects across various sectors. -Evidence of ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD). -Confident working both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. -Flexible approach with a willingness to travel to client sites across the UK. -Strong client-facing presence with the ability to build trust and deliver value. -Chartered Membership or working towards membership with RICS, CABE, or CIOB. -Strong understanding of the design and construction process and inspection practices. -Degree in a construction or design-related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
