Tasks

-Lighting photometric calculations using AGI -Contribute to the development of reports and electrical calculations -Design power distribution, lighting and lighting controls, grounding with respect to buildings and infrastructure projects -Attend  meetings - listen, ask questions. Be involved in discussions with other disciplines and Architects to gain knowledge & experience. -Work with people from other disciplines and/or vendors to gain knowledge on new subjects -Work on projects using Revit MEP and SKM -Assign circuitry for Power and Lighting devices

What You Bring

-Candidate must be eligible to work in the US without the need for employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future to be considered for this role. -Presentation skills with colleagues and clients of all levels -EIT/ FE certification preferred -The ability to prioritize effectively, balance assigned work and exceptional organization skills required for our constantly evolving environment -Short circuit, overcurrent coordination, load and arc flash studies -Coursework in building systems design, electrical power systems design, control systems, electric machines, and codes and standards preferred -Ability to communicate thoughts and technical ideas in an accessible way, both in person and in writing -Innovative minds: We’re looking for critical thinkers who embrace new ideas and challenge the status quo. -Demonstrated interest in sustainability as evidenced by extracurricular activities,  etc  preferred -Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE), or similar degree,  bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering  (BSAE), or Bachelor of Science in Engineering Concentration: Electrical -Academic research, coursework, or other experience with alternative energy systems and other technologies new to the construction industry preferred -Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential for team-based working -Experience with Revit MEP, AGI 32, SKM Power Tools preferred -Skills in planning and organizing -Internship experience in a consulting firm with emphasis on buildings electrical power system design preferred -Experience with automation or machine learning preferred -Evidence of teamwork and leadership such as professional accomplishment or honor society preferred -Recent and soon-to-be graduates: Whether you’ve just graduated or are graduating before the role starts, we want to hear from you if your degree is in a relevant field. -Demonstrated interest in the electrical engineering industry with an emphasis on the power side of the discipline within buildings and infrastructure projects -Proven ability to perform in a deadline situation preferred
