Create 3D CAD steel & concrete designs, produce 2D drawings, collaborate on projects.

Tasks

-Supporting senior designers by producing structural drawings that are completed on-time and within budget, while maintaining quality, consistency, and accountability that meets or exceeds customer requirements. -Collaborating with mechanical and electrical designers to resolve clashes within the 3D model, optimizing the overall design. Travel to client facilities with experienced project team members may be necessary to verify on-site physical design conditions.

What You Bring

-Autodesk Navisworks -Awareness of American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) manual for steel design -Awareness of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) -Proficiency in at least one major CAD software (i.e. AutoCAD or MicroStation). -Associate Degree in Computer Aided Design Technology preferred -CAD certificate required if non-degreed -Attention to detail -A minimum of 6 years of experience in structural design. -FSA & HSA -Awareness of American Concrete Institute (ACI) for foundation design -Time management -Previous relevant experience considered
