What You Bring

-Ability to work in high/confined areas -High School diploma or equivalency -Ability to work other than normal work hours which may include weekend, holiday, etc. -Individual must be self-motivated, detail oriented and able to accept and retain information through continuous learning and training. -Excellent Safety Record -Ability to work on or around machinery -Proficient with computers and ability to work with SAP/Plant Maintenance Software -Remaining candidates may be required to undergo additional approved assessment, including interview(s) -Ability to rotate shifts and plants during the approximate four to five year apprenticeship program -Must know and follow established safety procedures including a working knowledge of OSHA & MIOSHA. -Must be at least 18 years of age to apply -Attendance required at Grand Rapids Community College during off-working hours to complete required/assigned academic requirements (approx. 875 hours); each class must be completed with a grade of C or above. -Must be able to meet/pass assessment standards for the position
