Civil Engineering Intern (Long Term)

Overview

Support civil/environmental projects: reports, permits, site visits, and construction admin.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Coordination with permitting agencies, utility providers, contractors, and other parties associated with the project. -Review of specifications and shop drawings, field observations, preparation of inspection reports, and other construction administration tasks. -Assist with the preparation of permit applications and submittal packages to Agencies having jurisdiction. -Working in collaboration with the design team to assist in the preparation of technical reports, analysis/calculations, and construction documents. -Periodic travel to perform site investigations and construction observation. -Research, interpretation, and implementation of relevant codes and client requirements.

What You Bring

-AutoCAD experience is a plus -Ability to consistently work 16-20 hours a week throughout the year is required -B.S. in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering and/or working towards obtaining a B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
