The Role

Overview

Lead Special Services Division, drive growth, manage $30M budget, oversee multi‑region ops.

Tasks

-Foster collaboration with other business lines and support departments (DFP, Supply Chain, IT, Accounting, HR, Safety, etc.). -Align divisional objectives with Rex Moore’s corporate mission, vision, and values. -Identify, evaluate, and establish new regional markets for Special Services. -Implement best practices in forecasting, reporting, and operational efficiency. -Establish and enforce quality, safety, and compliance standards across all regions. -Maintain strong client relationships and ensure exceptional service delivery. -Manage and oversee a $30M+ operating budget, ensuring profitability and cost controls. -Lead, mentor, and develop Special Services Managers across all regions. -Review, approve, reject and revise project budgets, proposals, scope of work and contractual language that include Special Services department scope of work -May occasionally be required to stoop, kneel, and crouch. -Responsible for continuous improvement of the department by ensuring feedback loop communication and implementation of practical problem-solving techniques -Monitor financial performance, project margins, and resource allocation across all regions. -Build leadership capacity to support both current and future regional expansion. -Manage workforce development, such as talent/skills management, training needs -Drive business development initiatives, cultivating strategic partnerships and expanding customer relationships. -Oversee execution of complex projects while ensuring customer satisfaction. -Maintain and develop service assigned accounts -Champion Rex Moore’s culture of safety, authenticity, and customer service. -Develop and execute a division-wide strategy that achieves 10–20% annual revenue growth.

What You Bring

-Occasionally required to walk and stand. -Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management or related field and/or 10-plus years’ Construction experience with equivalent management experience -Demonstrated ability to achieve sustained growth targets. -Push, pull, lift and carry at least 10 pounds. -Required to use fingers and hands: type using a computer keyboard, handle, feel, and reach. -General understanding of systems in a building and how they differ from various facilities -Required to sit at a desk work station for long and short periods of time. -Technical background in electrical construction, or similar industry -Strong Organizational, Math, Communication and Networking skills -Strong financial acumen, with experience in P&L responsibility and strategic planning. -Excellent written/oral communication with strong influencing and consensus-building skills -Ability to hear with or without correction in order to receive and interpret detailed information. -Customer focused with a background in sales and business development is a must -Required to have visual acuity with or without correction in order to read and interpret contract information and view information on a computer monitor. -Strong analytical excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build, manage and influence teams -Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills. -Ability to verbally communicate: convey detailed and accurate instructions and information. -Computer based estimating program knowledge (Accubid, Conest, McComick, etc.) preferredc -10+ years of progressive leadership experience in business leadership (preferably construction service-related fields). -Proven success managing multi-region operations with a $30M+ budget. -Experience with performance metrics, process improvement and Lean techniques -Ability to foster a high-performance, values-driven culture. -Strong project and budget management skills
