The Role

Overview

Perform routine preventative maintenance on construction equipment.

Tasks

-Communicate effectively with equipment operators and management team regarding equipment status and required maintenance -Perform regularly scheduled preventative maintenance on a variety of construction equipment, including but not limited to light plants, generators, water pumps, skid steers, excavators, loaders, bulldozers, OTR trucks, and cranes -Make recommendations for stocking necessary parts and tools -Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed safely and efficiently -Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance performed, and parts to use HCSS program -Conduct thorough visual and inspections to assess equipment condition -Monitor inventory levels of maintenance supplies and spare parts -Always adhere to company safety standards and protocols -Document any modifications to equipment or deviations from standard procedures -Inspect machines to identify potential problems before they result in equipment failure from regular wear and tear

What You Bring

-Comfortable working in varying work environments including outdoors and at constructions sites -Applicants must be at least 18 years old -Requires regular and punctual employee attendance -Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences -Willingness to travel to other locations inside and outside the Phoenix metro area -Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as necessary -Vocational training in the mechanical field (preferred) -Individuals must be able to lift objects weighing 50 lb. on a regular basis -Strong communication and problem-solving skills -Must have a clean motor-vehicle record to meet company insurance guidelines -Willing to work in a team environment -Knowledge of safe work policies, procedures, and practices -High School Diploma or Equivalent
