Fabricates rebar and related items per specs, handling material prep and shipping.

Tasks

-Follows company safety policy and procedures. -Retrieves correct materials and performs various fabrication duties. -Examines specifications of the customer’s order using drawings, work orders, or blueprints to determine the characteristics of the finished item, materials to be used, and machine setup requirements. -Examine work pieces visually, by touch, or by using a tape rule, calipers, or gauges to ensure product meets desired standards. -Fabricates work pieces as determined by work order specifications. -Package items for shipping. Installs protective devices, to ensure shipped materials do not shift or become damaged during transport.

What You Bring

-Experience with reading blueprints, work orders or analyzing drawings. -Spanish language proficiency. -Knowledge of construction and industrial products. -Proficiency with rebar cutters, benders, and other related tools -Generally has 0-2 years of experience. -Physical stamina, and the ability to use construction tools. Key qualifications include mechanical aptitude, experience with rebar cutting and bending tools, familiarity with construction safety standards
