Tasks

-Serve as the primary liaison between company personnel and suppliers to maintain strong working relationships and resolve issues quickly. -Prepare and issue purchase orders to meet project and jobsite requirements, ensuring compliance with pricing, delivery schedules, and contract terms. -Solicit quotes, evaluate proposals, and negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers. -Track and monitor purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery and resolving any delays. -Review and reconcile discrepancies between purchase orders, invoices, and deliveries.

What You Bring

-Prior experience in underground mining, heavy civil construction, fabrication, or electrical/construction industries is highly beneficial. -Knowledge of Oracle/JDE systems preferred but not required. -Strong typing and data entry skills (minimum 50 wpm). -Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). -Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across teams and with external vendors. -Self-motivated, results-oriented, and professional, with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and sound judgment.
