Tasks
-Assist the sales effort by providing information and communicating potential guest/member needs to Activation Manager. -Reset / Set up pool furniture based on hotel standards. -Comply with Highgate Hotel Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient retail operations. -Sweep/extract excessive water puddles around the pool areas. -Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Highgate Hotel Standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the Beach Candy and events at hotel. -Employee must at all times be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to all guests, managers, and fellow employees. -Ensure overall guest satisfaction. -Greet and welcome all guests and members. -Assist with any cultural activities. -Act as point of contact for any on-sight vendors. -Maintain the cleanliness of the pool areas and cabanas, furniture, and service areas of the pools in an organized manner. -Hand guests new pool towels and accept/gather used towels from guests. -Assist during various hotel functions including opening, closing, and side work. -Monitor weather advisory and work with leadership team in proper care of pool furniture. -Meet with client/vendor upon arrival to review set-up for accuracy. -Help with any setup for special events, live music, and evening activities. -Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform and nametag. -Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions. -Take personal care of guests in cabanas/day beds according to SOP. -Ensure vendors at pool area have the utilities they need for their function.

What You Bring
-Must be effective at listening to guests needs, wants, and concerns. -Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary. -High school diploma or equivalent -Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information. -Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner. -Must be detail oriented, able to manage high volumes of data with a high degree of accuracy. -Must be able to show initiative, including anticipating guest or operational needs. -Must be proficient with computers and POS systems. -Meidum work – Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 30 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. -Be familiar with event types & setup. -Be proficient in the sales of cabanas/day beds to guests. -2 years retail/hospitality experience preferred -This position is very active and requires standing, walking bending and kneeling for entire shift.
