  • Promote a strong health and safety culture and actively participate in Stantec’s HSSE Program.
  • Lead the subcontractor management process, including subcontractor Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) prequalification, developing/populating subcontractor agreements and subcontractor variances, as required, with support from the PM.
  • Prepare prefield documentation submittals, including training/certification packages, work procedures, and hazard assessments, as well as supporting the development of project specific safety plans and emergency response plans, with support from the PM.
  • Coordinate logistics for field work, including booking travel and accommodations, and providing site support / checkins with field staff.
  • Complete document control, including formatting/compiling documents, and managing document numbers for submittals, with support from the PM.
  • Provide administrative support to the regional team including organizing meetings, organizing team events, and supporting staff with expense reports.
  • Work with our marketing team on project proposals, updating CV’s, and helping to develop promotional literature.
  • Develop/review project updates, project invoices, project change notices, and estimates to complete as part of Stantec’s Financial Percent Complete (FPC) system, with support from the PM.
  • Develop project management documents such as project budgets, project schedules, project setup forms, project execution plans, and project quality plans, with support from the Project Manager (PM).

  • Strong understanding of standard Microsoft software (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
  • An understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Quick learner with strong problemsolving skills.
  • Residing in Winnipeg, Manitoba (or surrounding area).
  • Some relevant experience is preferred; however, not required. Recent or upcoming graduates with a history of strong academic performance are highly encouraged to apply.
  • Bachelor’s degree in science, math, or business (or technical diploma with similar competencies).
  • Strong leadership and communication skills and ability to thrive in a team environment.
  • Ability to live and work in Canada.
