Receiving Specialist

Overview

Handle inbound shipments, verify, label, and store products in the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-work with accounts payable to resolve invoice/receipt discrepancies. -assist in moving non-inspect items into locations -print and label product appropriately -work with purchasing to resolve any pack list/qty/revision issues -create pack list for items going to paint -unload vendor trucks -confirm delivered items match pack list by qty and revision -Foster and promote a culture of continuous improvement. -verify shipment is not damaged before accepting -deliver non-production items to the appropriate internal person -move items to inspect area

What You Bring

-excel spreadsheet experience or power bi experience -ability to organize in a logical manner -willingness to be in non-climate controlled warehouse -ability to gain cooperation and assistance of others without authority over them -accurate and detail oriented -Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. -good penmanship -Forklift experience -Computer literacy for basic Microsoft Office applications -Willingness to do hands-on work within a team environment -Self-starter, able to succeed in a dynamic work environment -internally motivated, task oriented individual that can complete a task without constant or direct supervision -backflush items returning from paint -Ability to interface effectively and positively with all members of the organization, suppliers and customers.
