Overview

Manage $55M annual spend, procurement, inventory and supplier relations for SPX Aids to Navigation.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Support special supply chain projects and initiatives -Share usage and stock levels with key supply chain partners on a weekly basis in order to promote a Just-in-Time inventory management approach -Maintain safe and organized work area and support all safety policies -Communicate all potential supply chain and supplier issues to leadership with a sense of urgency and propose solutions -Analyze and manage supply chain data by leveraging SAP and the PFEP -Analyze usage, supplier lead times and material availability to ensure zero downtime on production floor -Develop and maintain effective working relationships at all levels in the organization -Support and proactively manage material obsolescence processes -Support inventory turns target by ordering according to Lean principles of small, frequent delivery batches from suppliers

-Ability to manage projects and meet targets -Professional verbal and written communication skills -Experience with PCB design/procurement -Strong analytical, statistical and problem solving skills -Excellent time management and organization skills -Communicate both verbally and written correspondence with a high level of professionalism -Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive business information -Experience with export/import regulations -Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field -Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing global supply chain sourcing processes, tools and practices -Experience with SAP ERP system -Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing organizations -CPM/CPIM or similar certification -Intermediate level Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills -Knowledge of Master Production Scheduling (MPS), Capacity Planning (CP), Bills of Materials (BOM), and Materials Required Planning (MRP)
