Tasks

-Collaboration: Work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to ensure seamless operations and support continuous improvement initiatives. -Parts & Inventory Management: Monitor spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement of necessary components. -Equipment Maintenance: Oversee and participate in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining plant machinery, including mills, welders, cutting systems, and material handling equipment. -Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and improve equipment longevity. -Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and compliance reports. -Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor maintenance technicians to ensure efficient daily operations. -Downtime Reduction: Quickly respond to equipment breakdowns and production disruptions, coordinating emergency repairs when needed. -Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to enhance reliability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness in maintenance processes. -Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance, ensuring OSHA and company policies are followed.

What You Bring

-Safety Focused: Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and industrial safety best practices. -Education: Associate degree or technical certification in industrial maintenance, mechanical engineering, or a related field. Equivalent work experience considered. -Computer Skills: Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and Microsoft Office. -Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues and implement effective solutions. -Experience: 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in steel manufacturing or heavy industry. -Leadership: 2+ years of supervisory experience leading a maintenance team. -Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
