The Role

Overview

Removes hazardous materials and cleans sites using specialized tools and equipment.

Tasks

-Remove substances, such as lead and asbestos, from a building using a variety of tools, which can include high pressure sprayers, vacuums and scrapers -Clean the equipment after it has been used on a worksite by using the proper solvents and chemicals -Clean the contaminated area thoroughly to ensure a trace of the substance is not left behind, which typically entails using steam cleaners and filter pumps -Aid with demolition or renovation.

What You Bring

-Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. -Must have valid drivers license and dependable vehicle. -Previous experience working with hazardous materials. -Aerial lift and industrial lift training. -Pre-employment drug and background screening required. -Industrial truck training. -Must be willing to travel 3-5 days per week (Mon-Fri). Lodging paid and daily per diem. -Training in demolition, construction and shoring safety. -Previous demolition or construction experience. -Knowledge of how to use various power tools.
