Tasks

-Responsible for the technical and professional development of project team(s) -Write responses to client RFQs and Solicitations -Conduct, or oversee the conduct of, investigations on matters such as water storage, permits, or other compliance and regulatory issues. -Oversee a team of project managers as they coordinate and monitor project tasks, budgets, and schedules -Review proposals, budgets, and client agreements -Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, public agency officials and community leaders -Actively participate in professional associations and civic organizations within the community -Participate in the development of company design and production standards -Lead, mentor, and oversee design and technical aspects of the team(s) projects including detailed engineering design and calculations, report writing, permitting (local and state) and presentations to clients, public agencies, and the public

What You Bring

-Proven ability to mentor a team of professionals -15 years of experience in potable water and wastewater design -Proven ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, municipal utility districts, public agency officials and community leaders -Proven ability to lead a team of engineers and technical professionals -10 years of experience managing water and wastewater personnel -Professional Engineer (P.E.) designation in the State of Texas, or ability to acquire registration within 6 months -Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited college or university -Proven ability to effectively communicate, both oral and written skills -Actively involved in professional associations and civic organizations
