The Role

Overview

Implement and manage safety programs on construction sites to ensure zero injuries.

Tasks

-Conduct or assist with major incident analysis -Coordinate OSHA reporting and posting requirements -Document and track all safety violations, unsafe conditions, etc. -Record, monitor, and analyze Safety, Injury, and Hazard statistics -Attend, coordinate, and conduct safety orientation and training programs at the project level -Conduct project’s leading and trailing indicator data/document collection and trend analyses -Conduct work area safety audits -Assist project management team in developing and executing site-specific safety programs and activities -Implement and administer safety programs at each worksite for team members

What You Bring

-Minimum of one year of related experience -Bachelor’s degree in safety, occupational health, or related field; -Strong teamwork orientation, initiative, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills -High school diploma, STS/CHST Certification, OSHA 30 Hour Training, and a minimum of seven years of continuous construction experience leading crews and planning work, including at least five years with responsibility for managing safety programs at the crew or project level, conducting and reviewing hazard analyses and developing controls, planning work activities -Effective public speaking and presentation skills -Detail-oriented with the ability to organize and manage multiple project tasks -Ability to travel up to 100% -Must be currently legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status, 0-1, TN, CPT, OPT, etc.). We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time. -Proficient in Microsoft Office and pertinent safety-related software programs -Current driver’s license -Ability to interpret and communicate company policies to team members and outside parties -Positive and professional attitude with strong customer service skills
