The Role
Overview
Manage inventory, goods movement, and warehouse operations in a manufacturing setting.

Tasks
-Replenish workstations and ensure components are available for upcoming jobs. -Receive, inspect and book in deliveries, ensuring accuracy against delivery notes and purchase orders. -Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies. -Ensure parts and materials are stored in the correct locations and are easily accessible. -Manage returns and arrange collections when required. -Work closely with production, procurement and quality teams to maintain smooth workflow. -Prepare and dispatch goods, ensuring correct packaging, labelling and documentation. -Issue parts and materials to production teams in a timely manner. -Keep the stores area clean, organised and compliant with health and safety requirements. -Operate forklifts, pallet trucks or other material-handling equipment (training can be provided if needed). -Support cycle counts, audits and process improvements within the stores function. -Support layout improvements and efficient storage methods. -Update stock systems, delivery logs and internal documentation accurately. -Maintain accurate stock levels and update inventory systems promptly.

What You Bring
-Ability to lift, move and handle materials safely (training provided). -Reliable, organised and able to work independently. -Experience within a manufacturing, engineering or production environment preferred. -Basic understanding of stock control systems and warehouse processes. -Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, logistics or materials-handling role. -Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential).
