Tasks
Primary Responsibility: The primary function of this position is to provide technical leadership and management for the control systems engineering function at MIRATECH. This team is responsible for development and integration of control systems solutions that are integrated into numerous products in the MIRATECH catalog. This work includes product design, testing and validation, implementation and field support of deployed products. This also includes partnering and collaborating with 3rd party suppliers, MIRATECH's procurement, marketing, product management, sales and engineering teams as well as customers in the field. Cooperates with: Engineering, Sales, Production, Project Management, 3rd parties, Marketing, Field Technicians, etc. -Work closely with Marketing, Product Management and Sales teams to provide superior products and experiences for the customer. -Model and champion the MIRATECH Mindset in ways that center team culture on these values. -Sponsor and support product development. -Ensure projects are executed accurately, complete and timely. -Provide detailed, timely project status reports. -Abide by and promote MIRATECH's EHS policies. -Recruit, train, mentor and supervise controls engineers. -Travel may be required from time to time to support site commissioning and troubleshooting -Keep abreast of technological advancements in the industry to aid in recognizing product development/revenue opportunities. -Work strategically with key suppliers.

What You Bring
-Proficient in problem solving and troubleshooting -Proven overall dependability, reliability, and responsibility -Ability to develop new leaders -A minimum of 10 years of experience with a strong background in controls and systems integration -Ability to generate alternative solutions -Willing to continuously and proactively collaborate, share, and seek guidance through open dialogue -Degree in Electrical, Controls or Systems Engineering or equivalent technologist diploma -Knowledge of NEC and IEC codes as well as hazardous area classifications -Time management skills including multi-tasking competing priorities as needed -Frequently required to work non-standard hours including evenings and weekends. -Demonstrated self-motivation and ethical behavior -Familiar with AutoCAD design software and Microsoft Office Applications -Excellent communication skills including interpreting and communicating technical information
