Tasks
-Integrating competing and/or conflicting elements into the planning and execution processes so that project requirements flow smoothly. -Developing and controlling budgets and funding strategies. -Managing interdisciplinary teams of professionals and supporting labor categories. -Employees may be required to maintain additional AECOM sponsored federal training and certifications. -Coordinate the other AECOM staff and specialty inspectors, provide oversight and technical quality review of the I/QAM work (who will coordinate and oversee of any third party Owner ordered independent supplemental or confirmation testing, and on the Owner’s behalf, to monitor and report on quality and progress to the AECOM Project Manager and GSA Project Team to support the delivery of a functionally and financially viable project that will be completed on time within authorized cost and to the required quality), and expert coordinate the observation and conformance verification of the construction work that will be done by the Design-Build Contractor on the Owner’s behalf. -Scheduling and coordination of project interactions among existing and occupied facilities.

What You Bring
-Familiarity with accepted severe / hot-weather buildings practices, materials and techniques, safety procedures, knowledge of common and general code requirements, and permitting processes and requirements. -Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field. -Relocation and/or per diem may be available for this position - TBD. -Valid US Drivers License -Due to the nature of this work assignment, United States Citizenship is required for US work authorization. -Professional demeanor, attentive and accommodating customer service skills, clear and detailed oral and written communication skills, collaborative team building skills, lead by example, proactive problem solver, capable of adjusting to changing job environments, seeks de-escalation. Self-directed. -Remote, off-grid, limited access site locations, arctic / sub-arctic, extreme environment experience. -Have at least fifteen (15) years of experience in developing and maintaining complex, long-term, multi-year project management activities. -BA/BS + 6 Years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education -Professional Engineering Certification, License or Architectural Registration a plus. -Experience supporting and/or managing complex projects as a Construction Project Manager. -Familiarity if not competency with Federal contract administration, public contract codes, federal acquisition regulations. -This position may be subject to a pre-employment Motor Vehicle Record Screening. -The Construction Project Manager must lead the integrated collaborative team that supports the Owner’s interests and shall possess an architectural, engineering, or construction background, and have previous experience on projects of similar size and complexity as well as satisfy the requirements listed below. -Applicants must be able to successfully pass Federal Adjudication for an HSPD-12 Tier 1 Security Credential. -Familiarity with Federal and local government office building projects, with procedural requirements, review requirements, and approval requirements -Federal (or state/municipal) governmental experience. -This position is anticipated to be fulltime onsite for a minimum of 60mos up to 78 months. While this position does not anticipate required travel into Mexico, having a US Passport is recommended due to the proximity to the international border. -This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization, sponsorship is not permitted or available. -Client background screening and fingerprinting and security adjudication will be required (*) -Proficiency in using, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel, competency with various review and PIMS repository programs, and other support software (CAD, BIM, Bluebeam, Structions, Procore, etc). -Ability to safely move throughout an active construction job site, and in a harsh environment. -Proven Experience performing and supporting the successful completion of similar projects in comparable environments and conditions. -Knowledge of and proven experience with planning and procurement phase management (pre-planning, planning, PDS, POR, OPR documents, acquisition support and BD, D-B-B, CMc procurement, consultant procurement); design phase management (design and constructability reviews, submittals, value added); construction phase management (CM/PM support services, Owner’s Representation, field observation, and contract management), closeout and warranty phase management (Cx support, warranty backcheck). -AECOM background screening and fingerprinting will be required. -Drug Test -Land Port of Entry (LPOE), Air Port of entry, embassy / military base or federal secure compound / facility experience. -Thorough knowledge of engineering and construction principles, practices and procedures, familiarity if not competency with applicable codes, laws, and government regulations, overlay GSA and CBP guidelines, principles of project management, and field observation and supervision. -It is preferred, but not required, that anyone serving in the capacity of a Key or Lead Personnel be a Certified Construction Manager (CCM) from the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) / CCM / PMP. -This position requires someone who can confidently support a high profile complex multi-year project managing the scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and change management. -A valid driver's license, US Passport recommended as work is at an border crossing, although travel to Mexico is not a part of the job requirements.

-Work Schedule is TBD but will likely be five (5) weekday / eight (8) hour workday (possible four (4) day / ten (10) hour workday) with some shifts occurring earlier or later to accommodate cooler weather for placement off specific work items (e.g. Concrete flatwork)
