Tasks

-Strictly adhere to safety requirements, policies, and procedures as outlined in the employee policy manual. -Follow directions of Dispatch Manager as to daily tasks and expectations. -Communicate effectively with customers as well as truck drivers to dispatch orders in a timely and efficient manner. -The employee is frequently required to sit, climb, and use hands. -Suggest and implement new ways to make our business better. -Properly follow all company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environment. -Responsible for a safe work environment for themselves and co-workers. -Promote and maintain a clean Work Environment. -Innovation - Generates suggestions for improving work. -Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures; Determines appropriate action beyond guidelines; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly. -Handle multiple tasks concurrently and perform under pressure. -Individuals are required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated operations and production areas as stated by OSHA and/or MSHA. -Customer Service - Manages difficult or emotional customer situations; Responds promptly to needs. -Work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors/managers with other duties as required. -Report to work at the designated start time. -Perform opening and closing procedures. -Quality - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; Looks for ways to improve and promote quality; Applies feedback to improve performance.

What You Bring

-CSR must be customer service minded and, be able to keep a level head under stressful conditions in a high paced environment. -CSR must be aware of special jobsite conditions that require specific trucks, spacing, material needs, etc. -Utilize GPS tracking software and enter orders into dispatch scheduling software; ability to quickly learn different software programs. -Available to work overtime, nights and weekends when necessary. Reliable attendance is essential in performance of the role. This is 5 days a week M-F position, with occasional Saturdays as needed. -Possess a level of determination to successfully maximize production and efficiencies. -Basic computer skills for entering orders. Outlook, Word, Excel, Keyboard 25 + wpm. -Communicate effectively with a wide variety of customers and be an effective problem solver.Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred, but not required -Must pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check. -Must be able to act quickly and creatively to solve problems; work independently and make decisions. -Able to communicate with others by telephone and in person. -CSR needs to be familiar with the delivery area and must be able to assist lost drivers in finding jobsites, determine travel times to jobs. -Ability to read and comprehend simple instruction, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Abilit to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. -Must be 18 years of age or older. -Extensive knowledge of Pueblo and Southern Colorado, ability to read and understand maps. -Adaptability - Adapts to changes in the work environment; Changes approach or method to best fit the situation; Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events. -Must provide excellent customer service by phone; scheduling and organizing large numbers of people and equipment efficiently and quickly. -Judgment - Exhibits sound and accurate judgment. -High School Degree or General Education Degree (GED). -CSR must be able to quickly build rapport and relationships with others, including team members, customers & vendors. -Dependability - Follows instructions, responds to management direction; Commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals. -Vision abilities (with correction) include close, distance, peripheral, depth, and the ability to adjust focus. -Reliable attendance is essential to performance in this role. -Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time. -Knowledge of concrete and construction industry is preferred. -Initiative -Asks for and offers help when needed; able to consistently work independently. -Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written and oral instructions. -Planning/Organizing - Uses time efficiently. -Three to five years related customer service experience, and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. -Display a professional, positive and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the public at all times. -Professionalism - Approaches others in a tactful manner; Reacts well under pressure; Accepts responsibility for own actions. -Ability to add, subtract, multiple and divide in all units of measure using whole number, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratios, percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
