Overview
Lead cost/commercial delivery for residential/commercial projects in SW England & Wales.

Tasks
-Act as a key technical resource within the field of cost/commercial management, providing technical advice and solutions to internal colleagues in order to support successful project delivery across a range of projects -Will be responsible for leading and growing a team, utilising resource to deliver projects within cost, time and quality standards, and will have significant technical knowledge and experience in their field -Build valued relationships with senior clients and stakeholders, in order to ensure client satisfaction, develop the cost management service and create new business opportunities -Create project costings and budgets from clear objectives, managing finances across a project in order to ensure the profit and budgetary targets are met and best value outcomes are achieved -Monitor and review the performance and behaviour of all team members, including educating and influencing others, and take action to ensure compliance with the organisational policies and codes of conduct across the entire project -Use own knowledge and experience of industry best practice to support the development of current cost and commercial management systems and processes -Lead, coach and develop the skills and capabilities of team members in order to share knowledge, increase team skill level and improve the standard of service delivery -Analyse and compile a range of complex data and documents, using knowledge to review and assess analysis and provide recommendations to contribute to project decision-making -Assure compliance with contracts in terms of project delivery parameters and scope of service -Lead and manage individual cost management assignments from inception to completion, managing teams and resources to ensure delivery standards meet client expectations -Work to improve services and drive innovation to increase team contribution to project delivery -Manage relationships with customers in order to identify opportunities to improve the cost management offering and deliver customer satisfaction

What You Bring
-Experience in building and managing client relationships at senior-management level, including the ability to act as a trusted advisor -Experience of managing people, and leadership skills including the ability to motivate others -Relevant professional qualification or chartered status -Knowledge of the South West market particularly Exeter and Bristol. -Possess the skills and experience to actively support the internal team and manage resources on technically complex projects / programmes of work typically ranging between £1m and £100m -Demonstrable understanding of clients key objectives with the appropriate sector -Knowledge of the South Wales / Cardiff market would be an added advantage. -Chartered professional with relevant cost and commercial management experience including delivery of medium /large projects ranging from £1m to £100m+ across an entire project life cycle -Bachelor’s degree or equivalent -Good communication skills, including the ability to liaise / share knowledge with peers and senior colleagues and build and maintain relationships. -Commercial acumen and organisational understanding. -CSCS card holder
