QC Inspector

Overview

Inspect gas turbines, produce defect reports, ensure compliance with quality standards.

Tasks

-Carry out stage inspections during engine builds to ensure compliance with quality standards -Maintain and control workshop Control Order Files and associated documentation -Ensure all measuring equipment is calibrated, certified, and aligned with Quality Management System requirements -Assist with shipping and receipt of materials to and from approved vendors, expediting sub-con activities efficiently -Perform bulk and detail strip inspections of gas turbines and provide comprehensive defect reports

What You Bring

-Working knowledge of industrial or power gas turbines and associated components -A minimum of NC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent; HNC is preferred (or suitable proven experience in lieu of formal qualifications) -Proven ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings and illustrated parts catalogues -Previous experience in a similar inspection or mechanical quality role, ideally within a gas turbine environment -Strong organisational skills and ability to work collaboratively with workshop and quality teams
