Tasks

-Review cost estimates prepared by third-party consultants and provide recommendations on their suitability for SCA (School Construction Authority) implementation. -Supervise quantity takeoffs and cost evaluations based on design documents, drawings, specifications, and change orders. -Develop and/or oversee the preparation of detailed cost estimates across all phases of design and construction. -Participate in cost-related negotiations and project discussions. -Assign, monitor, and review estimating tasks and deliverables. -Collaborate with technical, professional, and managerial staff—as well as designers, consultants, and contractors—to coordinate and prepare comprehensive cost estimates.

What You Bring

-At least 5 years of full-time technical experience in the construction industry. -A minimum of 5 years specifically in estimating within one or more of the following disciplines: architectural, electrical, mechanical, or plumbing systems -Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering. -Professional Licensure and Society Memberships
