-Ensuring equipment, tooling, and workforce capability align with project demands. -Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, increasing manufacturing efficiency and quality. -Advise sales and estimating teams on contract costing prior to tender submission, including setup costs, production hours, and resource requirements. -Coordinating with design, engineering, and production teams to resolve technical queries. -Acting as the single point of coordination between internal stakeholders and project teams. -Reviewing client specifications, contracts, and engineering drawings to identify critical deliverables. -Identify potential production or process risks early in the NPI stage and implement mitigation strategies -Analysing factory work content and supporting labour profiling with production managers and HR.
-Strong organisational skills and a problem-solving mindset. -Apprentice trained in fabrication and welding or degree in Engineering, with a strong practical understanding of steelwork processes. -Proven experience in project engineering within a similar environment. -Excellent stakeholder management and strong communicator with the ability to challenge and present ideas and solutions. -The ability to interpret technical drawings, CAD models, and fabrication standards.
